Product review: Shea moisture braid up detangler
When I seen this I was intrigued because I had never seen this particular product before, but it looked like it’d be similar to Shea moisture’s extra moisture detangler from the raw Shea butter/Argan oil line, which I wasn’t too thrilled with. But this was 4.99 and it says it’s for take down and braids so I said “why not”. This stuff is the bomb.com! It did exactly what I have ever wanted a moisturizer to do when I install braids (none have ever come close). It’s a detangler that’s applied as a leave in conditioner (damp clean hair), but it’s also a moisturizer (true blue, might I add), because it keeps the hair moisturized thru the drying process and well afterwards... you will not need to apply anything else after this! My daughter’s hair was still moisturized while I was braiding her hair, which was a few hours after I applied this; allowing it to air dry on Velcro rollers, then I blow dried it on hi speed/cool air... still moisturized.
